Róisín Tuohy currently lives in Waterford and works in the motor industry when not writing. She has worked in journalism and has had short stories published in a number of anthologies. She hopes to finish a novel someday and not have it live in a drawer forever more. Róisín has been a member of Cupán Fae for 4 years and has contributed to the Fiercepunk anthology.

Colm Dodd is an engineer by day and a writer by night, originally from Bray in Co. Wicklow. He first contracted the writing bug in primary school with the Write-a-Book competitions. His writing mostly touches on the sci-fi, fantasy, crime, and post-apocalyptic genres. Paul Carroll is a writer and comic creator from Dublin. His work primarily focuses on the extraordinary, be that through magic, science or just downright chaotic. His obsessions include tea, foxes and spreadsheets. He is a founding member of both Limit Break Comics and Cupán Fae. He has contributed to Cupán Fae Anthologies: Dublin’s Fierce City, Fierce Mighty, Fierce New World, Fierce & Proud and Fiercepunk.

Kat Dodd is an American transplant that escaped from a small town in Arkansas right between Toad Suck, Pickles Gap, and Wooster. The first story they ever wrote was in a purple crayon in their journal, and Kat hasn’t stopped writing since. Kat is a co-organiser of Cupán Fae and has been a member for almost 4 years and has contributed to anthologies: Dublin’s Fierce City, Fierce Mighty, Fierce New World, and Fierce & Proud.

Interview with Cupán Fae Author Caitríona O’Malley

Caitríona O’Malley is a writer from Kildare. She has a Masters in Creative Writing from UCD and has been published in Hot Press, the UCD anthology Bridges Between, the zines This Is Not Where I Belong and The Runt, and the literary journal Paper Lanterns. She’s currently working on her first novel. Caitríona has been a member of Cupán Fae for 10 months and has contributed to the Fierce & Proud anthology.

Mark Kielty is from Dublin. His favourite sports are hurling and basketball and he also volunteers as a basketball coach with the Special Olympics. He loves YA, Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels. Interview with Cupán Fae Author Ellen Brickley

Ellen Brickley is a novelist and essayist. Her writing has appeared in Banshee literary journal and the Irish Times. She was the recipient of a Literature Bursary from the Arts Council in 2017 and is currently working on an essay collection. Ellen has been a member of Cupán Fae for four years and has contributed to Cupán Fae Anthologies: Dublin’s Fierce City, and Fiercepunk.

Helen Carroll lives in Waterford City with her boyfriend and their diva of a hound named Fiadh. During her seven-year escapade in Dublin, she successfully infiltrated and commandeered the Dublin NaNoWriMo community where she met a multitude of wonderful writers and cofounded Cupán Fae five years ago. Helen has contributed to Cupán Fae Anthologies: Dublin’s Fierce City, Fierce Mighty, Fierce New World, and Fiercepunk.

Axel Kelly got bitten by the writing bug very early in life, though he’d like to think his writing has improved since he started. He also got bitten by the sci-fi and fantasy bugs early in life too, thanks to his family. Originally from West Cork, he now lives in Dublin, working for the Civil Service.
